Folded Leaflets
Doxdirect offers 3 options for folded leaflets
Half-Fold Leaflets
Half-Fold Leaflets are folded in half along the middle like a greeting card, and are available as A3 folded to A4, and A4 folded to A5. During the order process we are always referring to finish size. You would need to supply a 4 page document (pdf documents recommended). Don’t worry if the file is not at the right size, our system will scale the artwork up or down as needed.
Tri-Fold Leaflets
Its an A4 folded twice, effectively splitting the document into 3 panels, each of the panels at DL measures 99mm x 210mm – exactly one-third of A4. Based on the kind of folding, we offer Tri-Fold Leaflet as Z-Fold and C-Fold.
Z-Fold is also commonly called “accordion” and “concertina” folds. The ‘Z’ fold is when the document folds create a ‘Z’ shape profile.
C-fold is a document folding method that uses two parallel folds to create six panels of roughly the same size – three panels on each side of the paper.
To print Tri-Fold Leaflets you would have to supply a 2 page document.

What can I use Leaflet printing documents for?

A folded leaflet or brochure is the perfect product for promotional material to advertising a business. We would recommend the classic Z-fold or C-fold on 170gsm paper for a travel brochure or information guide.
A folded A5 leaflet can be printed up to 300gsm, choose satin for a slight sheen finish. These are great for event programmes, menus and birthday cards. This weight could also be a good way to showcase a photography or art portfolio
A menu can be printed as a folded leaflet and for a handout you could go for a lighter weight paper such as 80 or 120gsm. Print a map on the back of a company brochure to let customers know where to find you.
For product instructions, healthcare advice or safety information, 120 or 130gsm would be a good option, and if you need to print a form to filled in then 80 or 120gsm plain would be the best option to choose.
