Unbound document printing

If you want to print loose leaf pages and simply require fuss-free, high-quality printed documents, then select unbound document printing.

This covers document printing, flyer printing, leaflet printing, small format poster printing and anything else you want to put on A5, A4 or A3 unbound sheets.

It is also possible to hole punch your documents if you would like to add them to an existing ring binder folder or you can even corner staple pages together if you need a very simple binding style for your documents.

What does loose leaf mean?

Loose leaf sheets are printed pages which are not bound together. They can be simply bound by a staple in the top left corner, or be hole punched and inserted into a ring binder.

Unbound document printing prices

Doxdirect printed unbound pages start from 4p for a single sided A5 page and 6p for a single sided A4 size page (6p/9p for double sided). We print in standard A5, A4 and A3 sizes in a range of paper weights and finishes. If you require larger sizes (A2, A1 or A0) please see our poster  printing page.

Hole punched pages

Doxdirect can print hole punched pages to fit into a standard two or four hole ring binder folder for A4 and 2 hole for A5. If you want the folder included as well as the hole punched pages please select ring binding as your binding style.

Corner stapled pages

A very simple binding method, Doxdirect can put a staple in the top left hand corner of your documents binding them together for ease of use.

Lamination and encapsulation

We can produce unbound sheets which are laminated or encapsulated, in A5, A4 and A3 sizes (although they are not available to order directly on the website) for paper of 160gsm upwards. You should place your order as Unbound and then email service@doxdirect.com directly afterwards to request the lamination or encapsulation.

What’s the difference?
Encapsulation is actually what a lot of people refer to as lamination. It is when a sheet of paper is covered with plastic so there is a lip going all the way around it, making it water resistant. Lamination is when a thin layer of plastic is applied to one or both sides of a sheet, which is not water resistant but doesn’t have the lip around the sheet. We laminate on both sides as standard.

Laminating: £2.00 per A5 sheet / £3.00 per A4 sheet / £6.00 per A3 sheet
Encapsulating: £1.00 per A5 sheet / £1.50 per A4 sheet / £3.00 per A3 sheet
