Some printed items at Doxdirect are VATable (at 20%), and others are zero-rated (this means they are taxable for VAT, but with a tax rate of £0.00).

- Spiral bound
- Saddle stitched
- Hardback books
- Paperback books
- Ring binders
Which items have special VAT requirements?
For unbound (loose leaf) documents, corner stapled documents, flyers, leaflets and brochures, VAT will be charged if any of the following apply:
- The paper size is larger than A4
- The quantity is less than 50
- Any lamination is chosen
- The paper weight is more than 250gsm (including Business Cards)
What if my order contains VATable and zero-rated items?
We will not charge VAT for zero-rated products, and other items will be charged as normal. Delivery cost is VATable.
