Delivery policy - please read carefully
The Doxdirect online printing and binding service is available 24/7, enabling you to upload and order printed documents at any time. Our production facility however, only operates on weekdays, meaning that orders cannot be processed over the weekend or public holidays. When placing your order and selecting processing and delivery options, we ask you to please bear this in mind and allow sufficient time for your order to be processed.
At Doxdirect we differentiate between 'turnaround time' and 'delivery options'. Turnaround time means that you can select how quickly we actually process your order. Our standard turnaround time is 2 days, excluding weekends and public holidays, but we also offer a 'same day and 'one day' service for orders which are more urgent. Any orders for hardback and paperback books will need an additional 2 days processing time before despatch.
Turnaround time options:
Orders will be processed the same day as the order is placed (working days only), and despatched the same day, as long as the order is received by 11am. Exceptions to this are orders for hardback and paperback books which need an additional 2 days processing time before despatch.
Orders will be processed the following working day from the day of receipt of your order (working days only) from the day of receipt of your order (if you order on Friday then your document will be shipped on Monday at the latest). Exceptions to this are orders for hardback and paperback books which need an additional 2 days processing time before despatch.
Orders will be processed and despatched 2 working days (working days only) from the day of receipt of your order (if you order on Monday then your document will be shipped on Wednesday; if you order on Friday your order will be shipped on Tuesday). Exceptions to this are orders for hardback and paperback books which need an additional 2 days processing time before despatch.
Please note that orders received after 11am cannot be processed and shipped the same day. They will be shipped the following working day.
Delivery options
Please note that consignments above a certain weight will automatically default to the most economical shipping options for your order. Delivery times quoted and terms and conditions are as provided by our logistics partners (Royal Mail and independent couriers).
This is a standard 1st class Royal Mail postage service, where Royal Mail strive to deliver 93% of items by the next day.
This is a Royal Mail service which offers delivery by 1pm on weekdays only. It is a 'signed for' service and deliveries can be tracked.
This is a Royal Mail service offering delivery by 9am on weekdays only. It is a 'signed for' service and deliveries can be tracked.
Standard road courier is a service which offers delivery before 5.30pm the day following despatch weekdays only. It is a 'signed for' service and this option will auto-select if your order is above a certain weight. For more urgent orders we also offer the options Courier by 9am, Courier by 10.30am and Courier by 12.30pm.
Deliveries to international addresses are shipped by courier.
